Insurance Agency Sued for Failing to Alert Homeowner to Flood Zone Change Ahead of Superstorm Sandy

NEW YORK — A New York couple whose home was damaged by Superstorm Sandy has sued their insurance agent for allegedly neglecting to tell them about a cheaper and more comprehensive policy that was made available when FEMA issued a new flood map for their area years before the storm.
