TRENTON, N.J. — A South Jersey couple has sued State Farm Fire and Casualty Co. over the handling of their Superstorm Sandy insurance claim, accusing the company of misrepresenting details of a policy that they say covers catastrophic damage to their home.

William and Jacqueline Weaver allege in their complaint filed in Ocean County Superior Court that State Farm failed to adequately adjust their Sandy claim and kept them in the dark about certain exclusions contained in their policy by making unspecified misrepresentations about its coverage terms.
