CAMDEN, N.J. — A federal judge has ruled that he does not have jurisdiction to hear a lawsuit filed by a woman whose insurance company allegedly paid too much money on a claim she submitted after Superstorm Sandy caused flood damage to her New Jersey home.
U.S. District Court Judge Joseph E. Irenas ruled July 2 that the suit should be returned to Cape May County where it was originally filed against several adjusters and contractors hired to repair the Sandy-related damage.
