TRENTON, N.J. — A condominium owner on the New Jersey Shore has sued Selective Insurance Co. of America and his broker for allegedly misrepresenting the amount of flood insurance that was needed to insure his property against damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.
Richard S. Avon filed the lawsuit in Monmouth County Superior Court, accusing Selective of fraud and bad faith following its refusal to pay for flood damage to Avon’s condo.
