BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A private Connecticut golf club has sued New Hampshire Insurance Company for its refusal to fully cover tropical storm-related damage that left the seaside course unplayable for several months.
The Country Club of Fairfield filed the lawsuit April 12 in U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut after Hanover agreed to pay for damage to a seawall that protects the course from Long Island Sound, but refused to pay for repairs to flooded greens and fairways.
