BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A New Yorker whose residence was damaged by Hurricane Irene and Superstorm Sandy has sued Wells Fargo Bank and two homeowners insurers for failing to release proceeds she needs to fund nearly $100,000 in storm-related repairs.
Nancy Dicroce alleged in her March 4 complaint in Queens County Supreme Court that as a result of claims she made after Irene and Sandy, Wells Fargo has received checks totaling nearly $30,000 from Fidelity National Property and Casualty and Liberty Mutual.
