NEW YORK — The owner of a rented drill rig that was submerged in salt water and rendered unrepairable after Superstorm Sandy has sued the company that was using it at the time, along with two insurers for refusing to replace the rig.
TJMinc LLC filed the lawsuit in New York County Supreme Court, accusing Aon Risk Services and The Hanover Insurance Co. of breaching its obligation to alert TJMinc that coverage on policies covering the rig were canceled for non-payment prior to the loss.
