NYC Parking Garage Owner Seeks $2 Million from Insurer for Superstorm Sandy Damage

NEW YORK — The owner of more than 50 New York City parking garages has sued Lexington Insurance Co. over coverage of property damage and loss of business income resulting from Superstorm Sandy.
In a lawsuit filed March 15 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Quik Park says Lexington has denied its claim for approximately $2 million in property and business losses caused by flooding from the storm.
