Cabot Renews Call for Showing of Harm After Landowners’ Drop Personal Injury Claims

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. is still asking that plaintiffs claiming injury from hydraulic fracking make a prima facie showing of harm despite the filing of an amended complaint in which personal injury and medical monitoring claims have been dropped.
Cabot (NYSE: COG) says the amended complaint is further evidence that plaintiffs are making generic damage claims raised by other area residents in another lawsuit against gas drillers.
