Court Orders Defendants to Respond After Plaintiffs Agree to Narrow Request

SCRANTON, Pa. - A federal court has ordered Chesapeake Energy Corp. and two other defendants to provide "full, complete and verified" responses to plaintiffs' document requests in a personal injury case filed by a worker at a gas drilling operation. Sweeten, et ux. v. Chesapeake Energy Corp., et al., No. 3:11-cv-00261-ARC (M.D. Pa.)

The April 27 order by Senior U.S. District Judge A. Richard Caputo came after counsel agreed that such discovery will be limited to six months prior to the alleged incident, and 90 days after.
