SCRANTON, Pa. - Plaintiffs suing Cabot Oil and Gas Corp. over alleged environmental damage from shale gas drilling have asked a federal judge to reject a neighbor's motion for protective order and allow them to depose her to elicit information about her water quality and experiences with Cabot. Fiorentino, et al. v. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., et al., No. 3:09-cv-02284 (M.D. Pa.).
