HARRISBURG, Pa. - The owner of a 120-acre tract in central Pennsylvania has asked a federal court to award it summary judgment in a dispute with a gas drilling company over the operation of a salt water disposal well. EXCO Resources (PA), LLC v. New Forestry LLC, No. 1:10-cv-1793 (M.D. Pa.).

Defendant landowner New Forestry LLC filed its supporting brief under seal Feb. 6, saying only that it was seeking summary judgment under Rule 56 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure - no genuine factual dispute.
