DENVER - The United States has notified a federal court of its intent to intervene in a False Claims Act lawsuit for the purpose of settling claims against one party accused of colluding with a second party in the procurement of natural gas leases on federal lands in Colorado. United States, ex rel. Gale v. Gunnison Energy Corp., et al., No. 09-cv-02471 (D. Colo.).
