SCRANTON, Pa. - Cabot Oil and Gas Corp. has asked a newly assigned judge to allow oral argument on its motion for summary judgment in a lawsuit alleging that the company fraudulently induced landowners to sign an oil and gas lease. Harrison, et ux. v. Cabot Oil and Gas Corp., No. 10-312 (M.D. Pa.).
Cabot filed the request in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania on Dec. 22, shortly after the case was reassigned from Judge William J. Nealon to Judge Robert D. Mariani.
