HARRISBURG, Pa. - Shell Energy Holdings GP LLC has moved to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a landowner who objects to Shell's action to pool sections of a formerly unified, leased tract in an effort to drill for gas in the Marcellus shale formation. Kamuck v. Shell Energy Holdings GP LLC, et al., No. 4:11-cv-01425-CCC (M.D. Pa.).
Shell filed its reply to plaintiff Edward Kamuck's opposition brief on Oct. 6, reiterating its argument that Kamuck lacks standing to challenge Shell's pooling of nearby acreage in central Pennsylvania because his land is not part of the unitized entity.
