Non-Parties Move to Quash Subpoenas in Pa. Water Contamination Case

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania landowners who have been subpoenaed to testify in an environmental fracking case brought by their neighbors have moved to quash, saying the information sought is privileged. Fiorentino v. Cabot Oil and Gas Corp., et al., No. 3:09-cv-02284-JEJ (M.D. Pa.).

Michael and Suzanne Johnson, who own land in Dimock Township, Pa., adjacent to some of the plaintiffs suing over water well contamination, also say in their Aug. 24 motion that disclosure could harm their own lawsuit against Cabot Oil and Gas Corp., or other parties, should they choose to file one.
