Texas Appellate Court Finds Injection Well Did Not Extend Terms of Lease

EASTLAND, Texas - A Texas appellate court said the plain terms of an oil and gas lease caused it to expire at the end of one unproductive drilling year, despite the fact that the drilling company used a well on the property for saltwater injection purposes.
