HARRISBURG, Pa. - A federal judge has granted a request by counsel and former counsel for a group of central Pennsylvania residents to continue a preliminary injunction barring distribution of environmental reparation funds from an escrow fund for another four months. Fiorentino v. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., et al., No. 3:09-cv-02284 (M.D. Pa.).
Judge John E. Jones III in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania agreed to the request from counsel on May 23, rescheduling a hearing on former counsel's claim to attorney fees for Sept. 20, as requested by the parties.
