NEW ORLEANS - The contractor that provided the drilling fluids for the Deepwater Horizon oil rig has asked the MDL court to dismiss class claims asserted against it by Doug Crawford, one of the rig workers injured in the April 2010 explosion. Crawford v. BP, P.L.C., et al., No. 2:10-cv-1540 [In re: Oil Spill by the Oil Rig "Deepwater Horizon" in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010] (E.D. La.).
