NEW YORK - A New York federal judge has granted Chevron's motion for a preliminary injunction against collection efforts in a $9 billion Ecuador judgment for alleged environmental damage, saying it wants to preserve the status quo while related litigation is ongoing in Ecuador and the United States. Chevron Corp. v. Donziger, et al., No. 11-Civ-0691 (S.D. N.Y.).
