HARRISBURG - Three plaintiffs alleging environmental damage from gas drilling methods deny that they named two Pennsylvania companies as defendants to defeat diversity jurisdiction and have asked a federal judge to send the case back to state court. Stiles, et al. v. Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, et al., No. 3:10-cv-02453 (ARC) (M.D. Pa.).
Attorneys for the three Pennsylvania residents filed their motion to remand on March 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
