HARRISBURG, Pa. - Former counsel for a group of central Pennsylvania residents are seeking one-third of an escrow fund established by a drilling company that residents blame for methane in their drinking water and other environmental contamination. Fiorentino v. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., et al., No. 3:09-cv-02284-JEJ (M.D. Pa.).
The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania has scheduled a March 22 hearing on the motion by three law firms that filed the initial complaint on behalf of residents of Dimock, Pa., but were replaced as counsel in September.
