HARRISBURG - A Pennsylvania oil and gas rig worker alleges in a recently filed suit that his burn injuries resulted from the drilling operator's failure to maintain a safe working environment. Sweeten, et ux. v. Chesapeake Energy Corp., et al., No. 3:11-cv-00261-ARC (M.D. Pa.).
Martin Sweeten made the allegations against Chesapeake Energy Corp. and affiliates in a lawsuit filed on Feb. 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Sweeten amended the complaint on Feb. 14 to assert Pennsylvania citizenship and diversity of citizenship with the Chesapeake parties. That amended filing was in response to a …
