NEW ORLEANS - Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell has asked a federal court to schedule a hearing for Feb. 2 on motions by a growing number of Gulf states for a separate government track in the Deepwater Horizon multi-district litigation. In re: Oil Spill by the Oil Rig "Deepwater Horizon" in the Gulf of Mexico, on April 20, 2010, MDL No. 2179 (E.D. La.).
