Cabot Moves for Lone Pine Order in Pa. Environmental Lawsuit

SCRANTON, Pa. — Cabot Oil & Gas, which last month moved to dismiss an environmental damages suit, has asked a federal judge for a Lone Pine order in which the plaintiffs would be required to make a prima facie showing of harm. Roth, et ux. v. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., No. 3:12-cv-00898-RDM (M.D. Pa.).
Cabot filed its motion in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania July 20, challenging the basis for “generic allegations of harm” by Frederick J. and Debra A. Roth.
