SAN FRANCISCO - Commercial fisherman have withdrawn their lawsuit over a fuel oil spill in San Francisco Bay rather than restate claims that a federal judge dismissed without prejudice a day earlier. Russo, et al. v. M/T Dubai Star, et al., No. C 09-05158 (N.D. Calif.).
The Notice of Voluntary Dismissal Without Prejudice was filed on April 30, a day after Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California gave plaintiffs 30 days in which to amend their claims to provide supporting detail.
