ST. LOUIS - A shingle manufacturer whose supply of asphalt was indirectly interrupted by an oil refinery's leaking pipeline is suing its insurer for denying a claim for millions of dollars in lost business. Tamko Building Products Inc. v. Factory Mutual Insurance Co., No. 4:10-cv-00891-DJS (E.D. Mo.).
Missouri-based Tamko Building Products Inc. filed the lawsuit against Factory Mutual Insurance Co. on May 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, asking the court to order the carrier to pay the $10 million policy limit for business interruption losses.
