JPML Will Address Opposition to Transfer of Chinese Drywall Claims Back to MDL Docket

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation is set to address a motion to vacate a conditional transfer order in a Chinese drywall case, in which both parties contend that since the plaintiffs had previously opted out of the global settlement in the coordinated docket, transfer would not be proper.

The JPML will address the motion at its Dec. 5 hearing in Las Vegas, according to an order released by the panel. The motion will be decided without oral argument.
