Plaintiffs Seek MDL Docket Coordinating Goodman Air Conditioning Product Litigation

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Plaintiffs in three separate class action lawsuits accusing Goodman Manufacturing Company of defectively designing air conditioning products that allegedly leak refrigerant have asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to create a coordinated docket for the lawsuits.
In an Oct. 7 petition filed with the JPML, the plaintiffs contend that the class actions share common questions of law and fact, including whether the defendants should have known about the defects in the air conditioning products prior to selling them to the plaintiffs and proposed classes.
