WASHINGTON, D.C. — The manufacturer of allegedly defective PVC decking and railing products has asked a panel of federal judges to create a consolidated docket for two pending class actions filed against the company by plaintiffs in nearly a dozen states.
AZEK Building Products Inc. filed the petition to consolidate and transfer the cases on Oct. 29, urging the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to send the cases to a single federal judge in New Jersey.
