PHILADELPHIA — Plaintiffs in a class action levied against a maker and distributor of polyurethane foam insulation assert that medical monitoring is needed for early detection of latent diseases that could be caused by their alleged exposure to the product.
In their motion to dismiss the claim, however, defendant Barnhardt Manufacturing Co. asserts plaintiffs have failed to identify the specific monitoring procedures they claim are necessary and how that monitoring differs from the normal, preventative care.
