Window Manufacturer Says Expert Didn’t Have to Conduct Chemical Analysis of Allegedly Defective Window Spacers

DETROIT –– Parties involved in an allegedly defective thermal foam window spacer lawsuit have filed additional briefing as to the admissibility of one of the plaintiff expert witnesses, with the plaintiff contending that a chemical analysis is not required to make the opinion reliable.

In separate briefs filed Sept. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, plaintiff Thompson I.G. LLC and defendant Edgetech I.G. Inc., responded to the court’s request for additional briefing on the matter of admissibility.
