Interline Brands, Linx Name Chinese Manufacturer in 3rd-Party Complaint Over Toilet Supply Line Leak

FORT WORTH, Texas – Interline Brands Inc. and Linx Ltd., two plumbing suppliers sued by State Farm Lloyds to recoup money spent to repair a residential flood, have filed a third-party complaint against the Chinese manufacturers of the toilet supply line blamed for the water leak.

The two defendants filed the Supplemental Third-Party Complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Aug. 28, naming Watts Plumbing Technologies (Taizhou) Co. Ltd. and several affiliates, seeking indemnification and/or contribution for any damages awarded to the plaintiff insurer.
