Chinese Drywall Liaison Counsel Release Joint Report; MDL Judge Gives Final Approval on Virginia Settlements

NEW ORLEANS –– Parties involved in the national Chinese Drywall Multidistrict Litigation docket have filed status reports, noting that several state court cases are set for trial in the upcoming months.

In an Aug. 16 joint report filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, plaintiffs’ and defendants’ liaison counsel additionally noted that two state court cases before Judge Victoria Sigler of the Florida Eleventh Judicial Circuit are slated to begin trial in October and December.
