MOBILE, Ala. –– A settlement has been reached by parties involved in a lawsuit asserting that defective windows were supplied for use at a new construction project at the University of Southern Alabama, just two weeks before trial was scheduled to begin.

In a July 15 letter to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, the parties advised the court that they had reached a “settlement for dismissal of all claims.”

In an order issued the same day, the District Court dismissed the case with prejudice.
