NEW ORLEANS — Two Louisiana couples have filed a class action lawsuit against Pella Corp., alleging that windows manufactured by the company contain a defect that allowed water to enter their homes and cause damage to the structures and property inside the residences.
The complaint, filed Feb. 24 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, accuses Pella of concealing its knowledge of problems with the Pella Architect series windows, failing to recall the product and refusing repair the windows once the defect came to light.
