PHILADELPHIA — Barnhardt Manufacturing Co. is seeking dismissal of a class action lawsuit filed against it by Pennsylvania homeowners who say the company’s foam insulation product made them sick and caused damage to their residences.
Barnhardt contends in a motion filed Feb. 15 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania that allegations the spray polyurethane foam insulation is defective and releases toxic gases after installation are unsupported by any additional facts contained in the complaint.
