Chinese Drywall MDL Approves $10 Million State Court Settlement of Fla. Condo Case

NEW ORLEANS — A $10 million settlement of state court Chinese drywall claims filed on behalf of a Florida condo association has received approval from the judge overseeing the federal coordinated Chinese Drywall docket.

Judge Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana signed an order Feb. 25 approving the deal with defendant Bovis Lend Lease (Lend Lease) that was finalized in Palm Beach County Circuit Court last November.
