PHILADELPHIA — Damage to several homes caused by Chinese drywall that was imported and brokered by a Pennsylvania-based sourcing agent constitutes a single occurrence under one of two insurance policies issued to the company, a federal judge has ruled.
Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued the ruling Feb. 15 on his way to awarding summary judgment to Cincinnati Insurance Co. in its declaratory judgment action against Devon International Inc.
