WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A defendant named in a class action over allegedly toxic polyurethane foam insulation is challenging a move by plaintiffs to have their counsel assigned as interim lead in the case, arguing that the move is unnecessary and likely part of a strategy to eventually land a leadership position in a coordinated MDL docket.
