MIAMI — A developer seeking coverage for Chinese drywall claims in Florida has accused its insurer of delaying the case by asking the court to certify an order to appeal a choice of law ruling issued more than two years ago.
Peninsula II Developers Inc. filed the opposition brief Jan. 11 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where Westchester Fire Insurance Co. recently renewed a motion for certification of a 2010 ruling that applied California law to the coverage dispute.
