MOBILE, Ala. - Scottsdale Insurance Co. has filed an amended coverage complaint in Alabama, adding dozens of companies it says are jointly and severally liable for $340,000 in unpaid deductibles on the more than $1.3 million the insurer has paid to defend and settle Chinese drywall claims. Scottsdale Insurance Co. v. The Mitchell Company Inc., et al., No. 11-578 (S.D. Ala.).
