Plaintiffs Object to Big Changes Sought by Taishan in Deposition Transcripts

NEW ORLEANS - The plaintiffs' steering committee in the Chinese Drywall MDL has moved to strike what it calls significant changes manufacturer Taishan Gypsum has made to transcripts of depositions taken earlier this year in Hong Kong. In Re: Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2047 (E.D. La.).

In a March 26 motion to strike errata sheets Taishan submitted after the January deposition, the PSC also seeks sanctions for the "insubordination" and "gamesmanship" the defendant has employed by seeking wholesale changes to testimony offered by company officials during the depositions.
