NORFOLK, Va. - A court clerk has entered a default against two builders named in a Chinese drywall coverage action after they failed to file an answer in the case despite filing responsive pleadings in the underlying action. Builders Mutual Insurance Co. v. The Futura Group LLC, et al., No. 10-324 (E.D. Va.).
Fernando Galindo, the clerk of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, entered the default Feb. 10 against The Futura Group and Bay Reflections, LLC, who were named as defendants in a coverage action filed by Builders Mutual Insurance Co.
