- Response Brief
NEW ORLEANS - Parties to a recent settlement involving Chinese drywall manufacturer Knauf Plasterboard (Tianjin) Co. have filed a brief urging the MDL to keep intact a provision to stay all claims involving the company until June. In Re: Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2047 (E.D. La.).
The brief was filed Jan. 24 in response to several objections to the stay that were filed by counsel representing state court plaintiffs with pending cases against Knauf and other defendants and insurers that have either preliminarily resolved cases or are in the process of negotiating settlements.
