NEW ORLEANS - The Chinese Drywall MDL judge has entered an order requiring installers, builders and suppliers to hand over confidential lists of U.S. addresses containing Chinese drywall for which they may be share alleged responsibility. In Re: Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2047 (E.D. La.).
Judge Eldon E. Fallon's Dec. 15 order was issued as Knauf Plasterboard (Tianjin) Co. and the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee announced that they had reached a global settlement with homeowners and as part of a months-long bid to mediate possible resolution of the litigation.
