Comprehensive Discovery Order Entered in Va. State Court Drywall Cases

NORFOLK, Va. - The judge presiding over state court Chinese drywall litigation in Virginia has entered an order governing discovery procedures for all cases set for trial and those that have not yet received a trial date. In Re: All Pending Chinese Drywall Cases, No. CL09-3105 (Va. Cir. Ct., Norfolk Cty.).

Judge Mary Jane Hall of the Norfolk City Circuit Court issued the order Dec. 1 on a motion by defendants Venture Supply Inc. and The Porter-Blaine Corp., which had previously moved to establish a discovery timeline for the cases, which have been pending for more than two years.
