Broward County Plaintiffs Move to Compel Insurance, Asset Information from Banner

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Plaintiffs in the Broward County Chinese drywall cases have filed a motion to compel discovery related to the $54.75 million global settlement recently announce by drywall supplier Banner Supply Co. In Re: Chinese Drywall Litigation, No. 11-90000 (Fla. Cir. Ct., Broward Cty.).

The plaintiffs filed the motion July 18, requesting that details of the agreement be disclosed in their entirety so that plaintiffs with cases pending outside the federal MDL can make an informed decision about whether to participate or opt out of the deal.
