MIAMI - A company that was subcontracted to install drywall at a Florida condominium complex has sued its liability insurer seeking coverage for a lawsuit brought by condo owners who allege that the drywall caused damage to electrical and HVAC systems in their residences. Caceres Drywall Corp. v. Amerisure Insurance Co., No. 11-61427 (S.D. Fla.).

Caceres Drywall Corp. filed the complaint in May, but the case was recently removed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida by Amerisure Insurance Company, which insured Caceres under a commercial general liability policy between 2009 and 2010.
