Ala. Judge Places Chinese Drywall Cases Involving InEx on Administrative Docket

BESSEMER, Ala. - Alabama state court Chinese drywall cases in which Interior Exterior Building Supply Co. is named a defendant have been placed on an administrative docket until further notice, according to an order entered in Jefferson County Circuit Court. Saeed, et al. v. Gibson & Anderson Construction Inc., No. CV-2010-900679 (Ala. Cir. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).

Judge Nicole Gordon issued the order June 24 after hearing argument on a motion to stay the cases while the federal MDL court decides whether to finalize a global settlement that INEX and its insurers reached with drywall plaintiffs earlier this year.
